These glasses are light and fit very well on my face. Of course having polarized glasses is a must for fishing, so is comfort. These feel like glasses that should cost much more. The lenses are clear and fit securely in the frame. No worries of them popping out. VERY HAPPY with these shades!

Great construction – the biggest point of failure for me is the frame. This one looks much better made than the others I’ve purchased. Definitely polarized lenses but not sure why that isn’t on the packaging or frame. I’d prefer a little tighter grip to my head but other than that, they are very comfortable, clear, and provide full protection from the sun.

I know fishing. I was raised in a bass boat. And I work for one of the worldÕs largest professional bass fishing tournament trails. I really like these glasses. They fit my face perfectly. They are very comfortable Really block the wind when IÕm cruising across the lake at 70mph. Most sunglasses IÕve worn donÕt do a very good job of this. The polarization of these lenses does a fantastic job of cutting through the glare on sunny days and and equally as well on partly cloudy days. Really helps to see bedded and cruising fish as well as underwater structure. Obviously you canÕt see structure in dirty water. No glasses can make that possible. But in slightly dingy water or cleaner water, these glasses really help. Also when IÕm looking at my graphs on sunny days when the sunÕs glare makes it hard to see the screen. They are just heavy enough to feel them but not so heavy that they are a distraction. I was hesitant to purchase these due to the price. But let me tell you, I am not disappointed. I have owned some really expensive fishing sunglasses. And I was severely disappointed even before buying these. Now I just feel dumb for paying $279 for my Costas. If you want a great pair of fishing sunglasses at 1/10th the cost of Costas, try a pair of these. You wonÕt be disappointed.

The sunglass is very nice and lightweight for fishing. My only gripe when looking from the inside of the lens amber color and not smoke black. I dropped one star because of the amber color from looking from the inside. I was expecting all black. I keep it anyway as a spare of fishing sunglass.

They’re very comfortable and have great coverage. Downside (for me at least) was that they didn’t seem dark enough whatsoever. I live in the Phoenix area where the sun is brutal so I could be an outlier here. I walk a mile to class and constantly squint and have eye strain without glasses, I didn’t find myself squinting but the eye strain was ridiculous even with these. In summary; great for driving but not so much for outdoors where the sun wants to kill you.

The sunglasses are comfortable, lightweight, and, at least in my case, wrap around enough to block the glare from my face onto the back (eye-facing) side of the lenses, which, I find, can be distracting (as a brief explanation, I am referring to the aura you may see whilst glancing up and down, where the light hits your face behind the top portion of the frame, causing a reflection onto the lenses).I’m going to test them for UV protection, but I did check the polarization, and they are definitely polarized. As for UV blocking, I will make an adjustment to my review if they do not…

It’s a great, compared to 120 usd this is a beast… Its not a 300 pair of sunglasses but for fishing it’s great

These are NOT $25 Costas or Maui Jims! These are decent for what you pay for them, but no more so than that. I got the mirror-green lens and compared to my high $$ old H2Optix, the lens is thicker and darker. This is a bonus on a very bright day, but in more overcast weather these can be too dark. The color you see changes depending on if you look through the center or off center. I am giving these 4 starts *for sunglasses under $30*. IMHO the best thing is for outdoor activity where they are likely to be scratched, broken, or lost why risk $150 glasses? Use these.

Ok, thses KastKing Hiwassee sunglasses are legitimately of quality, comfort and style. I bought all three different styles of the KastKing Sunglasses not knowing wich one will fit best.. Im so impressed with these sunglasses.. All three styles (the Cuivre, the Slidaway and ofcourse the Hiwassee) fit amazing and looked awesome on me.. They look good and feel great on your face.. They are extremely durable.. I love the Hiwassee’s one of my favorite pairs.

Well as far as things that I don’t like about my new sunglasses there are no things I dislike. The view through them are some of the best I have seen in sunglasses a long time ago I had a pair of Foster Grants and they were the best vision sunglasses I have ever used. I have owned Oakleys and Ray Bans but even these sunglasses are better than those.

My husband has worn Ray bans or Costa del Mars for as long as I can remember He does not believe in having a back up pair for obvious reasons … the price. (unlike myself with a dozen laying around the house and cars). I ran across these Kastking Hiwassee sunglasses. They are very similar to what my husband wears now and meets all his requirements with the frame style, polarized lens and their weightlessness. He loves it and believes them to be a very expensive brand. They don’t fit him quite right but I am guessing that it is because his face has only worn Costa Del Mars for the last 15 years. I’ll have to gift similar ones to my sons for the Holidays,

After 5 years of carefully protecting my $200 sunglasses, I recently lost them in another country. Before dropping another $200 on sunglasses, I put my skepticism aside and purchased these. Very, very glad I did! While I can certainly tell the difference between these and the expensive pair I lost, the difference isn’t enough to keep me from buying these again if I lose the ones I just bought. Plus, the added bonus of not being paranoid about losing expensive sunglasses!

I finally had broken my old polarized glasses and was looking for a new set when I stumbled upon these. The colors were right and the name, while known for cheap quality, was appealing to try out. The packaging that came with the glasses was very good and came with all the usual doodads like a case and sleeve. Optical clarity was great. I did find them to be a little bulky but my last pair were frameless and I think thats why. Overall a quality setup and IÕm happy with my purchase.

    Karpaasi

I’ll start by saying I’ve never had a ‘good’ pair of sunglasses. I’ve always stuck with the sub-$15 cheap glasses. I was blown away with these. Life changing almost. I keep comparing them to my cheap, non-polarized, warped viewing glasses and it’s a massive difference. These are extremely lightweight. They come in a soft bad inside of a semi-hard cloth case. I bought these for an upcoming 16 hour road trip and so far they’ve been worth every penny. The only reason I subtracted a star (should have been only half a star) is that the bottom is pointed inwards so if you smile big, it raises the glasses off my nose. A very minor problem.

  18. 81

    Snakes

I ordered these on the basis that they’re cheap and wouldn’t be great. Boy was I wrong. They’re extremely light and the polarization is amazing. Well worth the money and more!

I have worn very expensive sunglasses (from a company with with a Hawaiian island in its name) for years, and needed some sunglasses which had less $$ at risk for activities like golf, cycling, yard work, etc. After a lot of searching, I selected these and have been very impressed. In particular, it is wonderful how well the fit your face – it blocks most of the wind from reaching your eyes, and also how well the wrap back to eliminate any loss of peripheral vision. Trust me, try these, you won’t be disappointed!

These glasses are awesome. I think they have the durability of Oakleys sports glasses, and the green copper lenses see straight into the water like Costas. For less than 1/4 of the cost. They are really light, but also amazingly durable. Some people say they feel cheap, well they obviously havnt tried to break these things yet. There is a rubber-type material on the pieces that contact your nose and above your ears. This means When IÕm pedaling my kayak in 100 degree humid weather dripping in sweat, they dont slide down my nose like almost every other pair of sunglasses I own. The lens are beautiful, I got the copper green color lenses to sight fish and see down into the water on a sunny day. There is zero image distortion, the reflection off the water is all but gone, and everything just looks amazing. The lenses are not too dark nor are they too bright. They seem to be just perfect for a bright summer day, but even when its dark or getting overcast you can still see very well. The copper color base in the lenses seems to intensify everything, I can see very well when its darker out too. Its been a while since ive worn a pair of costas or oakleys, but as far as the image clarity, light reflection, polarization, and ability to see down into the water, These are just as good, if not better because they are a fraction of the price. Comes in a nice case with a clip on it, and in a protective lens cloth bag. Buy these glasses, im sure you wont be disappointed, you cant lose.

They look good. They don’t ride on my nose but hang above. Not happy with the fit. Much of the product is the case and cloth bag. I’m not that impressed with the view. Nothing special. I would not buy another pair. They are just typical cheap sunglasses. Not bad but not great. They work. REVISED 6/19/19. After using them for a couple days I changed my mind about them. They worked really well for seeing the trout in the water. I came to like them. Alas they fell off somewhere and I lost them. The one complaint I have is the plastic clip the case hangs off broke immediately when trying to use it. Otherwise I think I’m going to buy another pair.

While saving to buy a Ògood, ie expensive Ò pair of polarized glasses for fishing, I happened on these. I needed a pair immediately for a fishing trip so I ordered these. Wow! They are comfortable, effective, and good looking – an incredible bargain! I cannot believe all the extras included with the glasses and wonder how they can make such a quality product for such a small investment. Recommending these to my fishing club members!

I bought these sunglasses as a backup to a pair of much more expensive sunglasses while those glasses were getting fixed. I was looking for an inexpensive set of polarized glasses, but I was losing hope of finding anything given the quality of most of the items I found. And then by complete luck, I came across that KastKing glasses. I had recent experience with the KastKing fishing line, and it was very positive. So I quickly selected a style and color and placed my order. From the moment they arrived, I was amazed at the quality of the product, and the nice extras that accompanied them. The case was of high quality, and the fiber cloth was very nice. At this point, I have used the glasses for about a week both on the water, and while driving my car, and I could not be happier. If you need a great pair of glasses, look no further.

Nice! Just got these glasses and I have to say I am impressed. I went with the Smoke Crystal colors and I love them. The polarized lens are perfect for Fishing or even my day to day working outside. I love that they are scratch resistant because I tend to be a little rough on my gear.Crystal clear lens and the frames are very lightweight.

These deliver on everything I am looking for in sunglasses for fishing: they are light weight, polarized, close to the face, and best of all, they are inexpensive. They are also attractive and come with both a soft pouch and a nice rigid case. Time will tell how they stand up in terms of durability, but for $25, I’m not out anything major if they break or if they lose them. I took them fishing and these are definitely polarized, they did a great job cutting through the glare on the water and letting me see fish and my bait. I can’t ever see needing to pay $100-200 for a more premium brand of sunglasses when these do everything I need out of glasses. For full disclosure, KastKing is offering a free giveaway in return for me submitting a review, but they do not ask for a certain number of stars or a positive or negative review. I did pay for these glasses, and at this price point, I would again.

I am not good at keeping my sun glasses carefully. I often drop them on concrete, dirt, rocks or put them in my pocket occasionally. Because I am wearing glasses, my sun-glass stays either my head or dangling on my t-shirt neck. I have ordered these sunglasses for sports/driving/event purpose expecting maybe survive for 2 to 3 month. It has been 5 month and still looks as new. I can’t seem to find any scratch on the surface of the lenses. Most of all, the quality and the polarization of the lens is superb. I will certainly buy them again.

I have been using these for fishing and river rafting. The polarizing is excellent. But the mirror coating on the outside wears off quickly. Just getting splashed with water and then cleaned with the microfiber a few times and one lens has almost no mirror coating left on it. I think they lasted about 6-8 weeks before the coating was gone from both lenses. I am super delicate with these and treat them nicely, always putting them in the microfiber bag and then the case. They would be 5 stars if they had some durability to them. I’m really disappointed with the lens coating rubbing off so quickly even with very delicate care.

The sunglass is very nice and lightweight for fishing. My only gripe when looking from the inside of the lens amber color and not smoke black. I dropped one star because of the amber color from looking from the inside. I was expecting all black. I keep it anyway as a spare of fishing sunglass.

These glasses are light and fit very well on my face. Of course having polarized glasses is a must for fishing, so is comfort. These feel like glasses that should cost much more. The lenses are clear and fit securely in the frame. No worries of them popping out. VERY HAPPY with these shades!

Great glasses for money, clarity was almost equal to much more expensive Costa’s and Maui Jim’s I use. Always worried about losing the expensive one in the water or damaging them. With this KastKings I get a nice pair of glasses to fish with and not so worried about cost to replace if lost or damaged.

Holy cow these are great glasses. KastKing has stepped to the plate with their new eyewear selection. These glasses are feather light and super comfortable to wear. The durability will be put to the test as I make these my new every day shades. The polarized lenses will make them the perfect fishing companion.

IÕm surprised these are so decent. They are very lightweight but donÕt feel gas station cheap. The lenses are a good size and cover my entire eye area. The shape of the entire thing is slightly rounded so it fits my face perfectly. The tortoise frame looks sharp, not cheap.Overall, IÕm pleasantly surprised they look how I want at this price point.

Today my new KastKing Hiwassee sunglasses came in. At first hesitant, IÕm used to wearing big named brands such as Costa, VZ, And Spy. First impression was great. Nice packaging, semi-hard shell case, cloth bag, and then inside, the sunglasses in plastic, A+.Fit was good, not being able to try them on first, they fit nicely across the bridge of the nose. Not too tight against the head, and fit well above the ears. I bent over several times and shook my head ( think leaning over the side of a boat or kayak to grab that fish!) and the glasses didnÕt move at all. A+Lenses were clear and vibrant making everything look crisp. Today was partly cloudy with bright sun between clouds. Shadows are well distinguished against other objects. A+Crastmanship is on par with other popular classes. Inlaid rubberized points for the nose and ears are well placed. Overall finish, printing/font on glasses are well placed and clean. A+Overall I highly recommend these KastKing Hiwassee sunglasses for outdoor sports, fishing, driving, and such.
